[:]Hi mushroom companions,
we found a date for the first hooops outdoor event, a multi-species entanglement walk with reading elements, where we will connect with our mushroom friends and learn from and something about them. The idea for this walk came up a few weeks ago when we met Tamara Pilz-Hunter (yes, that’s her real name!) - she is an artist, a certified mushroom guide, an urban forager, and she grows medicinal and gourmet mushrooms. When we met Tamara in her studio she told us about the biodiversity of graveyards in city. We’d like to invite you to experience this multi-species-entanglement together on the Mushroom Walk at St. Jacobi Graveyard. Here comes all you need to know:
When? Friday, 21.05.21, 16:00-19:00
Where? St. Jacobi Friedhof / Prinzessinnengärten, Hermannstraße 99-105, 12051 Berlin (meeting point is at the wood shed at the entrance)
What? Mushroom and plant walk + reading element
How many? Max. 15 people
Language? English and German
How much? For free. We recommend a donation or a gift for our guide Tamara
Accessibility? The walk will take place on paved roads and lawns. You do not need to have any knowledge about botany or mushrooms to participate. If you need assistance of any kind, let us know and we will figure something out together.
Please write us an email to info@hooops.de till Sunday 16th if you want to jon. We are looking forward!!
xx,
Lisa & Lena & Tamara
